I did it. I joined the Dark Brotherhood. I feel like a bad arse.
I just wiped out the Dark Brotherhood with my Nord...I feel like an arse. Plus I only got 3,000 gold for all my trouble. Astrid was a bitch to kill. It's so much better to join the Brotherhood. You get more benefits. Shadowmere is by far the best horse you will get. And what's not to like about being a shadowy assassin?
Why did you wipe them out? Is that a mission you get from someone?

I was curious. All you have to do is attack Astrid when you wake up in the shack and then the mission comes up 'Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!'. All my other Skyrim toons are members of the Brotherhood so I wanted to know what it'd be like to actually destroy it. It's fairly easy if you're careful. For being assassins, you can sneak up on them easily...fail on their part. I prefer not killing my "family" though. I love the Brotherhood questline. Met the Gourmet yet?
